Twas Death that
gently stalked my heart.
I struggled hard against
his lullaby. In silent fear
I clung to you, Sealing
your lips with long
hot kisses.

Death lies in wait for life
even as it blooms and flour-
ishes. Surrounded by a wreath
of flowers, its eternal cycle
is revealed. The generations
embrace in tender harmo-
ny, seemingly unaware of the
threat to their encompassing
bliss. Conscious of life’s fra-
gility, we should join forces in
defying danger. After all, life is
the greatest good and must be
protected.
